Palmitoyletanolamide (Normast)
Bladder pain is caused by a chronic inflammation of the urinary bladder. This inflammation is associated with a relative thermal hyperalgesia referred to the hind limb. Palmitoylethanolamide (Normast) attenuates this referred hyperalgesia in a dose-depended fashion. These result implicates that Palmitoylethanolamide (Normast) can be seen as a novel treatment for bladder pain.
